Editor's Note:

Welcome to Issue Twenty Nine of CSR! By now, you regular readers know my baby likes gold-leafed smirks and hates metaphor kisses. It craves skyscarpers in the staircse and makes cute little sounds when it hears a fatback drum bass. Baby has an uncanny ability to turn strawberry fields of wobbling guitar loops into a hitchhiker's relentless thumb. We both like hic-cup allegories and smallpox in the curry. Issue Twenty Nine is anything but a heelspur. This month is filled with hybrid photographs, along with a jar of muse-muddled art. Add to that, a group of sword-swallowing poets, an intriguing music maker and one magical book review and you've got the possibility of a Middle East peace dove. Trust me, when you finish this issue you'll feel like Harry Houdini on holiday. Or poison ivy. Either way, this issue will remind you of a bullet train. So forget about your cold sore and get busy...
