Editor's Note:

Welcome to Issue Forty Five of CSR! By now, you regular readers know my child likes paper tigers and pumpkin pie. It craves pickles in potato salad and makes cute little sounds at the first sight of an election booth. Baby has an uncanny ability to come up with new ways to sell ice to Inuits. We both like tutti frutti and hulu skirts. This issue examines the strength of the peace settlement. It is filled with diplomatic corps in the curry. Add to that, a group of poets with receeding hairlines, music from shag carpet and Jell-O in the book review and you've got the possibility of a pot-belly stove. Trust me, when you finish this issue you'll never want to see clips of another Senate hearing on TV again. Or bed bugs snore! Either way, you'll take the midnight train to Georgia and leave the driving to us. So bring a box of fried chicken and get busy...
